Familiarity with claims management systems, regulatory compliance software, and sometimes certifications like Associate, Life and Health Claims (ALHC) are typically expected. These skills are crucial for making fair, accurate decisions that balance client needs with organizational policies.

They assess medical documentation, employment records, and policy details to determine eligibility and the extent of benefits for individuals unable to work due to illness or injury. Analysts communicate with claimants, healthcare providers, and employers to gather necessary information, make informed decisions, and ensure claims are processed accurately and timely.
