Job description

Tech Talent International (SI) supplies technical talent to a variety of clients ranging from Fortune 100/500/1000 companies to small and mid-sized organizations in Canada/US and Europe.

We currently have a role as a Software Developer - PL/SQL - Capital Markets with our large consulting client, workig onsite at a major financial services client in the downtown Montreal area. This role can be either a long term contract or a permanent role.

Role: Software Developer - PL/SQL - Capital Markets

Type: Permanent or Contract 37.5 hrs/week

Location: Hybrid - Downtown Montreal, QC -(roles starts off 5 days in office for 1st 3 months, then turns into hybrid setup 3 days onsite, 2 days from home)

Contract Pay Rate: $80-90/hr C2C

Salary: $100,000 -$110,000   + 9% bonus + 3-5 weeks paid vacation + RRSP contribution + benefits + sick/personal days

RESPONSIBILITIES

Supports UniData deployment with PL/SQL development — building new application functionality, moving data between layers, and adapting/optimizing code to run on a multi-tenant database. 

Develops Autosys JIL jobs to orchestrate ETL tasks per application standards.

Must-haves: 

5+ years hands-on PL/SQL (advanced query optimization, complex stored procedures, high-volume tuning); 

version control (Git/SVN); 

issue tracking (JIRA, HP ALM); 

strong debugging; remote/cross-timezone collaboration and code documentation.
