Job description

Delivery Driver

Quantum Delivery is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team to deliver Amazon packages driving Amazon-branded vans. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting packages to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery and following customer delivery instructions. This role requires excellent driving skills, the ability to handle up to 50 lbs., and a commitment to maintaining high standards of customer service. Delivery Associates are required to deliver every single package according to customer instructions, while representing Quantum Delivery standards and culture.

Responsibilities

  • Safely drive and operate a delivery vehicle at all times.
  • Use hand held device for routing information, customer delivery information.
  • Navigate a variety of routes throughout delivery area efficiently while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies.
  • Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions. Load and unload packages to be delivered, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit.
  • Be CUSTOMER OBSESSED!! We strive to deliver packages and smiles to our customers.
  • Perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation:
  • Lift packages up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to get in and out of van up to 200 times and walk up and down stairs through your shift.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.
  • Utilize equipment such as package wheel carts as needed for loading and unloading heavy or multiple packages.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must have a valid driver's license within the state of employment.
  • Eligibility to work in the US a requirement.
  • Experience in commercial driving with cargo vans or Step Vans a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
  • Familiarity with route driving and GPS navigation skills to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Experience with vehicle maintenance and repair is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Availability all 7 days of the week, including weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Delivery driver experience (Not Required)
  • Class D Driver's License (Required)
  • Non-CDL Class C (Not Required)
