Fedex Work Home information

What is a FedEx work from home job?

FedEx work from home jobs are remote positions offered by FedEx, allowing employees to perform their duties outside of traditional office settings, typically from their own homes. These roles may include customer service representatives, data entry clerks, IT support, and other administrative or technical positions that do not require a physical presence at a FedEx facility. Remote employees receive training and support from FedEx and are expected to maintain productivity and communication standards similar to in-office staff. These jobs offer flexibility and can be a good fit for those seeking a better work-life balance.

What skills and qualifications are needed to work from home for FedEx?

To thrive as a FedEx Work From Home Customer Service Representative, you generally need a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication abilities, and experience in customer service. Familiarity with call center software, CRM systems, and basic computer applications is typically required. Outstanding problem-solving skills, patience, and the ability to work independently make someone stand out in this remote position. These skills are important for efficiently resolving customer inquiries, maintaining service quality, and upholding the FedEx brand from a remote environment.

What challenges do remote FedEx employees face and how can they be managed?

Remote FedEx employees often encounter challenges such as maintaining clear communication with team members, managing time efficiently, and staying motivated without in-person supervision. To address these, FedEx provides digital collaboration tools and regular virtual check-ins to ensure everyone stays connected and aligned with team goals. Employees are encouraged to create a dedicated workspace at home and establish a consistent daily routine. Leveraging company-provided training resources and proactively seeking feedback can also help remote workers stay engaged and productive.

  • Deliver and pick up packages to homes and local businesses on the assigned route.

  • Complete daily vehicle inspections and keep accurate inventory of packages throughout the day.

Job description

HFL Trucks Inc is a family-owned, locally operated small business contracted with FedEx Corp. to deliver and pick up packages out of the Menomonee Falls, WI FedEx Terminal. We're hiring FULL-TIME PERMANENT Delivery Drivers — and we need reliable people who want steady, weekly paychecks and a schedule they can plan their life around.

$500 SIGN-ON BONUS for experienced drivers — paid $250 after 30 days and $250 after peak season.

We service these areas: Menomonee Falls, Hartford, Slinger, Richfield, Germantown, Rubicon, Iron Ridge, Waukesha, Juneau, Mayville, and Theresa.

Why HFL is different

We're a small, family-run operation — you'll know the owners by name, not by email address. Drivers who show up, do the job, and take care of their route move up here. We're not a giant corporate contractor rotating you through routes and cameras — we run our own team, we know our territory, and we invest in the people who invest in us.

Pay & Benefits

  • $1.40 per stop + performance pay – up to $1,240 per week depending on productivity, service, and safety
  • $500 SIGN-ON BONUS for experienced drivers – $250 after 30 days, $250 after peak season
  • Paid training at $20/hour – 8-hour minimum during training
  • PTO – 3 days after 90 days, 5 days after 1 year
  • Health insurance eligibility after 30 days
  • Paid weekly – direct deposit every Friday
  • Uniforms provided
  • 4-day work week – one weekend day required (Saturday or Sunday)

What You'll Do

  • Load / verify your route each morning at the terminal
  • Deliver and pick up packages to homes and local businesses on your assigned route
  • Keep accurate inventory of packages throughout the day
  • Complete daily vehicle inspections – our trucks stay in top shape
  • Provide friendly, professional service at every stop

If you like the open road, take pride in doing the job right, and prefer working independently in a fast-paced day, this route is for you.

Requirements

  • No commercial driving experience required – we'll train you
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Valid Driver's License (MVR will be checked – must be clean)
  • Must pass a drug screen and DOT physical (no cost to you – this is a safety-sensitive role)
  • Able to handle packages up to 150 lbs with a hand truck
  • Able to climb stairs and work in all weather – summer and winter
  • Working smartphone – used for GPS and team communication

About the Schedule (Important)

This is a 4-day per week schedule, and one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) is required every week. If a full weekend off is a must-have for you, this is not the right role. If you're okay working one weekend day in exchange for two weekdays off, you'll fit right in.

Multiple Positions Open — Pick Your Commitment

We're hiring across three commitment levels:

  • Full-Time — 4-day work week with one weekend day required
  • Part-Time — reduced hours, flexible schedule (weekend day may still be required)
  • On-Call — coverage / peak / floater role, work as available

Let us know which one fits when you apply, and we'll match you to the right role.
