Job description

Driver (Class B)

Canyon Ridge Hospital is currently seeking a driver. The driver for our outpatient program would be responsible for transporting patients to and from the facility. The ideal candidate would be available Tues-Sat to assist with any long-distance discharges from 9am-3pm and work an 8-hour split shift from 5:30-9:30am and then from 11:30-4pm on Saturdays if needed.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid Class B driver's license
  • High school diploma or GED
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) card from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
  • Experience driving a twelve-passenger or larger vehicle
  • Basic automotive maintenance and auto repair skills
  • Must be able to concentrate on work amidst distractions
  • Must be flexible in work hours
  • Must maintain self-control in volatile or hostile customer service interactions
  • Must have skills in maintaining information as highly confidential
