Human Resources (HR) Coordinator

Logos Space is a Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite system purpose-built to serve the connectivity needs of the commercial enterprise users and government users. We will help fill an important gap in the market, providing resilient, high-performance satellite-based connectivity services to enterprise and government customers worldwide. Business customers have contracts with agreed-upon performance standards for their broadband, and Logos will build these capabilities into the system from the beginning. Speed and reliability are the foundation of the system. Logos is designed to extend cloud and data center network connectivity anywhere in the world to fixed, seaborne, and airborne terminals.

Logos is led by a team of highly experienced engineers with proven track records in the networking and satellite industries.

Position Summary & Responsibilities

The HR Coordinator is responsible for executing core People Operations processes across onboarding, compliance, HR systems, and employee lifecycle administration. This role ensures accuracy, consistency, and a high-quality employee experience through reliable execution of day-to-day HR operations.

Reporting to the Head of HR, this role serves as the operational backbone of the People function, partnering closely with HR leadership to support scalable and compliant processes

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and execute day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle administration, ensuring a smooth and well-organized employee experience
  • Manage and maintain HR systems (e.g., Rippling), ensuring data accuracy, user access, and effective system functionality; support updates, reporting, and troubleshooting
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the PEO, ensuring effective coordination of HR operations and key programs, and supporting resolution of payroll, benefits, and compliance-related inquiries or exceptions
  • Manage day-to-day coordination with IT vendors to ensure a smooth technical onboarding experience and support ongoing process improvements
  • Maintain employee records and support HR compliance processes, ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and aligned with federal, state, and local requirements (e.g., I-9s, notices, required trainings); maintain audit-ready documentation
  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions related to HR processes, systems, and policies, escalating more complex issues to HR leadership, as needed
  • Support implementation of new tools, workflows, and programs led by HR leadership
  • Maintain clear and organized documentation of processes and procedures
Basic Qualifications Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in HR coordination, HR operations, or administrative roles
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously
  • Basic understanding of employment laws and HR compliance requirements
  • Experience in fast-paced or high-growth environments
  • Experience supporting onboarding, employee records, and HR administration
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in startup or scaling organizations
  • Experience supporting technical or engineering teams
  • Experience with Rippling and other HRIS systems
  • HR certification preferred (e.g., PHR certification, SHRM-CP)
Estimated Base Salary
  • $110,000 - $135,000 per year (Level 4)
  • Your level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
