Job description

Description
Global-e (Nasdaq: GLBE) is the world's leading platform for global direct-to-consumer e-commerce, enabling brands and retailers to seamlessly sell worldwide, delivering localized experiences across markets.
Trusted by some of the world's most recognized brands including Adidas, Alo Yoga, Logitech, Hugo Boss, Marc Jacobs, and Victoria's Secret, we operate on a massive global scale through dynamic teams across North America, EMEA, and APAC.
Our technology-based end-to-end solution combines advanced localization capabilities, streamlined global operations and extensive big-data analytics, covering everything merchants need to scale worldwide. We're a fast-moving, highly collaborative company where innovation, creativity, ownership, and impact are part of everyday work.
We are looking for a skilled, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Solutions Engineer to play a key role in supporting our Sales, Project, Product, and R&D teams. In this role, you will lead technical discussions with online retailers and brands looking to expand their cross-border business with Global-e, helping them understand how our platform can support their global growth.
You will own the technical and integration track during both in-person and remote meetings with prospects and existing clients. This includes staying up to date on Global-e's current and upcoming capabilities, identifying client needs and technical challenges, and translating customer feedback into actionable input for our Product and R&D teams.
Responsibilities:
  • Partner closely with the Sales team to introduce Global-e's cross-border solution to prospective customers.
  • Help clients understand the power and flexibility of Global-e's platform by clearly explaining technical capabilities and addressing potential roadblocks.
  • Work collaboratively to identify and qualify business opportunities, uncover key technical objections, and define strategies to resolve them.
  • Recommend the right integration and solution strategy for each client, while providing best-practice guidance to maximize the effectiveness of the Global-e platform.
  • Own the technical discovery and solution scoping process during pre-sales, ensuring proposed solutions are scalable, feasible, and aligned with customer requirements.
  • Travel to customer meetings and workshops as required.
  • Act as a technical focal point for client integrations, with the ability to demonstrate solutions and prototype integrations in merchant environments when needed.
  • Provide ongoing technical guidance, education, and support to current partners and integrating clients.
  • Become a subject matter expert on Global-e's product capabilities and roadmap by actively participating in internal technical discussions and bringing field feedback back to Product and R&D.
  • Serve as a bridge between customers and internal teams, ensuring market needs are clearly represented in product and technical conversations.

Requirements
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • 4-5 years of experience in solution design, integrations, or technical consulting in a SaaS environment; prior experience in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar client-facing technical role is preferred.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or another relevant technical field.
  • Solid understanding of systems integration, APIs, RESTful services, and general technical architecture.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with distributed and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies, methodologies, and solutions across the Cloud/IT landscape.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under deadlines in a fast-changing environment.
  • Previous experience in eCommerce is a strong advantage, especially with platforms such as Shopify, SFCC, Magento, or similar

Compensation: 140k-160k + Bonus + Equity
