Director of Logistics and Transportation

Lead the logistics strategy behind one of North America's largest shipping networks. As Director of Logistics and Transportation, you'll shape the carrier partnerships, transportation network and long-term direction that support our expanding distribution network. Shape company-wide strategy to strengthen procurement capabilities and enable us to deliver on our customer promise of same-day shipping.

Position Responsibilities

  • Shape Uline's logistics strategy across multiple transportation modes including LTL, parcel, truckload, intermodal, ocean and air.

  • Own carrier procurement and contract negotiations, building strategic partnerships to strengthen capacity, improve service and optimize transportation costs.

  • Use data and market insights to improve performance, strengthen reliability and drive transportation efficiency.

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team focused on accountability, operational excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Partner with executive leaders and across teams to shape long-term logistics strategy and drive enterprise transportation initiatives that support Uline's continued growth.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • 10+ years of transportation, logistics or supply chain leadership experience.

  • Proven success leading teams, influencing stakeholders and driving cross-functional initiatives.

  • Experience managing carrier relationships, including negotiations and performance management.

  • Strong analytical skills with proven ability to drive logistics improvements.
