Job description

Logistics Analyst

Logistics / Supply Chain โ€“ Scottsdale, AZ

In-office Full-Time

Individual contributor

A growing distribution company is looking to find a detail-driven Logistics Analyst to support day-to-day logistics operations. You'll coordinate freight documentation, manage carrier and vendor relationships, reconcile invoices, and turn logistics data into reporting the management team relies on. It's a hands-on role for someone who works well independently and enjoys owning problems through to resolution.

What You'll Do:
  • Process delivery orders and Bills of Lading accurately and on schedule, and manage related pickup and shipment documentation
  • Track containers and monitor shipment status, escalating delays or exceptions as needed
  • Coordinate with logistics vendors and carriers on last-mile lanes to ensure on-time performance
  • Serve as a point of contact for vendors on routine logistics questions and issues
  • Review, approve, and reconcile inland freight invoices against orders and contracted rates, resolving discrepancies
  • Build and process logistics reports, and use Excel to analyze data and surface trends or issues
  • Support the management team with ad hoc analysis and reporting, and assist warehouse operations as needed
What We're Looking For:
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in logistics, freight, or supply chain operations
  • B.S. in Business Administration or equivalent degree; equivalent work experience considered
  • Advanced (super-user) Excel proficiency and solid Microsoft Office skills; comfortable learning new logistics software
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify issues or trends
  • Clear written and verbal communication, and a proactive, organized, ownership-minded approach
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
