Monday-Friday 6am-10am


Waypoint Detailed Delivery is a specialized transportation and logistics company serving the food and agricultural, pharmaceutical, and home medical care industries. Founded as a small Wisconsin business, Waypoint has grown into a nationwide operation and continues to expand rapidly—creating exciting opportunities for our employees to grow alongside us.

We partner with laboratories across the country to support product safety and integrity through precise, reliable sample collection and delivery. The Logistics Support Specialist plays an essential role in our daily operations by monitoring routes, supporting drivers, coordinating with laboratory partners, and helping ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor the progress of drivers completing routes across the country.
  • Electronically transfer route information to drivers’ smartphones using our logistics software.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for drivers who have questions, concerns, or unexpected issues while completing their routes.
  • Assist drivers with escalating time-sensitive or complex route issues to the appropriate internal team or laboratory contact.
  • Act as a communication liaison between drivers and laboratory partners to help ensure timely, accurate, and successful deliveries.
  • Communicate route changes, special instructions, delays, and other important updates to drivers and laboratory contacts.
  • Review photos submitted by Field Representatives to confirm that established standard operating procedures are being followed.
  • Enter and maintain accurate route, delivery, and operational information within the logistics software system.
  • Document route issues, communications, and resolutions clearly and accurately.
  • Collaborate with management and logistics team members to resolve service concerns and support efficient daily operations.
  • Complete additional administrative and operational support tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in logistics, dispatching, scheduling, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
  • Administrative experience is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to remain professional and solution-focused when handling urgent questions or concerns.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new programs and systems.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Must successfully pass a background check.
