Duration: 6-Month Contract

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Distribution Administrator to support transportation and logistics operations for a leading distribution organization. This role is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, optimizing transportation schedules, and ensuring the efficient movement of products throughout the distribution network. The ideal candidate has experience in dispatch or logistics, excellent organizational skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage inbound and outbound transportation activities.
  • Build, schedule, and optimize transportation loads to ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve transportation or scheduling issues.
  • Communicate effectively with carriers, warehouses, distribution centers, and internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate transportation records, shipment documentation, and logistics reports.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel, email, and other business applications to support daily operations.
  • Track delivery performance and recommend process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, transportation procedures, and safety standards.
