Job Overview

The Opportunity

You will serve as a vital leader within our field operations, bringing the personal character and technical expertise required to steer our service department with total integrity. This role offers you the unique opportunity to make an immediate impact in a family-oriented country dealership with 68 years of local history. You will enjoy a high operational setting.


How You Will Make an Impact

  • Lead the diagnostics, repair, and preventative maintenance for a diverse fleet of farm and heavy construction equipment.
  • Direct daily service department operations, upholding absolute integrity and professional accountability in every field task.
  • Manage on-site customer service calls within the region, ensuring swift and highly accurate mechanical resolutions.
  • Optimize shop workflow efficiency and mentor junior mechanics to enhance overall team technical proficiency.
  • Enforce rigid safety standards across all field operations, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and protective equipment.
  • Coordinate directly with operations leaders to streamline parts procurement and minimize machinery downtime.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience as a farm or heavy construction equipment mechanic.
  • Proven capability to lead service operations with a strong emphasis on personal character and professional integrity.
  • Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting complex mechanical, hydraulic, and diesel powertrain systems.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Absolute willingness to travel up to 10% of working hours to support regional clients on-site.
