Job description

Imagine what you could accomplish at Apple. In an environment where innovation and operational excellence thrive, we're seeking a highly organized, strategic thinker to lead logistics readiness, program management, and supply chain execution across the Americas region. This role sits at the heart of Apple's Americas logistics operations and owns both strategic and tactical planning across distribution centers, transportation networks, and cross-functional delivery programs - transforming complex operational challenges into clear, measurable business impact with creativity, rigor, and a bias for action.
Description
You will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless and efficient movement of products and materials across the Americas region, owning logistics readiness planning and coordination across distribution centers and transportation networks. Driven by a commitment to operational excellence, you will develop strategies and program frameworks that enable informed, proactive decision-making - improving service, cost, and delivery performance while leading logistics readiness from strategy through execution.
This role drives cross-functional alignment across supply chain, operations, sales, and channel partners to ensure service, cost, and operational efficiency, while managing program budget, timelines, resources, and deliverables. You will evaluate supply chain risks and implement contingency plans to mitigate impact - including ad-hoc analytical problem solving during dynamic or unprecedented events - partnering with stakeholders to translate complex requirements into actionable logistics plans that drive alignment and effective execution.
You will identify process improvement and change management opportunities across tools, workstreams, and systems - driving solutions from conception through implementation, directly or through partner teams. You will build automation that improves team efficiency, monitor KPIs to identify improvement opportunities, and standardize cadences to improve planning quality and speed.
Success in this role requires strong analytical judgment, structured problem-solving, and strategic leadership - the ability to turn complex operational data into clear decisions, facilitate cross-functional programs, and communicate findings in relatable terms that highlight business impact and guide strategic choices for senior leadership. You will navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while serving as a trusted subject matter expert across the organization.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field
6+ years of experience in logistics operations, supply chain, and program management, preferably in the technology industry
Demonstrated ability to structure ambiguous operational problems, build analytical models, and translate outputs into decisions
Strong knowledge of transportation and distribution processes, with experience managing complex logistics programs end-to-end
Fluency with analytical tools and BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent)
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree (MS or MBA) preferred
Experience collaborating with 3PL partners, carriers, and internal stakeholders to optimize network performance
Automation, process improvement, and continuous improvement experience (Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent)
Experience with AI-assisted tools (LLMs, GenAI assistants) to accelerate analysis and reporting
Proven ability to influence and drive strategic change in a fast-paced, matrixed organization
Comfortable diving deep into complex datasets to drive actionable decisions
Leadership presence to inspire teams, foster collaboration, and deliver measurable impact
Strong executive communication and leadership skills, including presenting assumptions, scenarios, tradeoffs, and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional partners
Ability to drive decisions in a fast-paced environment; resilient and adaptable, thriving in ambiguity and high-pressure settings
