Job description

Responsibilities
  • Accountable for all MP&L-related responsibilities supporting new program/projects
  • Coordinates, tracks, and reports project status utilizing existing Gestamp Program Management tools (GPCS/Teamcenter/Ariba/other)
  • Supports Program Manager(s) on special projects as needed
  • Mainly accountable for GPCS/Ariba to coordinate/monitor new product launches
  • Utilize Teamcenter for project tracking of PCP task completion, customer milestones, and internal KPI compliance
  • Support internal team for project-specific master data
  • Schedule & host meetings with Program Management teams to review the status of MP&L topics/open issues
  • RFQ development/Purchasing & Program Manager interface
  • Create PRs/GRs/VIM invoices in Ariba
  • Reporting: Purchasing finance program status
  • Ordering, reporting & logistics coordination of launch trial material to tool shops and to GSC
  • Create and maintain packaging instructions for all programs
  • PFEP (Plan for Every Part) / Pack BOM for all programs
  • Container/rack management
  • Oversee WIP container design, approvals & purchase
  • WIP Rack reuse planning
  • Blank Pallet management & purchase
  • Launch Warehouse set-up & management (EC / FIFO)
  • General Material flow and lineside presentation for series production
  • Coordinating all freight requirements for material/equipment as needed
  • Tracking all freight topics to ensure on-time delivery
  • Coordinate with purchasing for all trial material purchases & tracking
  • Optimize material flow, organize, and minimize warehouse footprint
  • SAP Supplier set-up and BOM support including BOM upkeep & material masters
  • Plant layout planning support
  • Support Program Managers with needed data & detail for customer project status reporting
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (or bachelor's equivalency), or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-5 years of Automotive-related experience in Program Launch, MP&L lead
  • Experience with creating and managing PFEP and product launch timelines
  • Experience on Team Center PLM, PJM, CAD, and TCM Modules preferred
  • Computer Skills with familiarity with Project, Word, PowerPoint, and Complex Excel Spreadsheets
