About the role
We are seeking a Sustainment Logistics Lead with demonstrated expertise in DoD system Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and system sustainment management. This position will help build, execute and grow company sustainment activities, while actively fielding autonomous vehicle systems for Defense and commercial customers. The Sustainment Logistician will support company-wide efforts to implement and perform performance-based sustainment for high-priority, high- tech autonomous weapons systems. The successful candidate will lead lifecycle logistics planning, develop product support strategies, and interface with engineering, supply chain, and program management teams to ensure operational availability, balanced with cost-effective, long-term system supportability.
This is a hands-on role intentionally building in sustainment best-practices from day one. This role will be instrumental to the company, DoD, and commercial partner fielding of autonomous ground vehicles. This is a fast-paced environment with an amazing team. What you'll do
  • The Sustainment Logistics Lead is responsible to the Director of Customer Success for company planning, preparation and execution of integrated logistics product support activities. Activities include the stand up and operation of spares analysis, spares forecasts, supply support logistics, parts repairs, site activation planning, global inventory movements, maintenance planning and maintenance manual subject matter expertise, PHS&T requirements, and requirements definition for maintenance & mission support data systems.
  • Generate logistics analysis and data requests in support of customer Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Provisioning activities, Reliability, Availability & Maintainability (RAM), and Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP).
  • Supports Site Activation planning, stand-up activities, and ongoing support & movement logistics
  • Manages site spares allocations, spares models, and global spare inventory control
  • Establishes repair capability (parts, plans) in collaboration with tech department (personnel)
  • Manages data requirements, data use, and processes to ensure data sufficiency and accuracy for logistics support.
  • Execute and coordinate ILS planning. Ensure readiness.
  • Analyze and contribute to performance-based sustainment contract planning, sustainment metrics, and supportability analysis for OEM partnerships and contractor depot / inventory control point (ICP) activities.
  • Support Level of Repair Analyses (LORA), Maintenance Task Analyses (MTA), and develop recommendations for provisioning and sparing strategies.
  • Collaborate internally and externally with acquisition logisticians, system engineers, and government stakeholders to develop and deliver program sustainment plans and contractor support SOPs.
  • Support sustainment reviews and contribute to the execution of performance incentives and metrics (e.g., Ao, MTTR, MTBF).
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in military system sustainment, lifecycle logistics or sustainment planning
  • Experience supporting ACAT I-III programs and navigating DoD sustainment policy
  • Experience with a collection of: DoD maintenance, technical manual documentation, acquisition logistics, ILS principles, PBL frameworks, DoD supply support, and the acquisition lifecycle.
  • Ability to hold a DoD Secret clearance
  • Respectful team player
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with DoD program office logistics management, DoD O-level maintenance, and/or OEMs or depot-level sustainment programs
  • Master's degree and/or DAWIA Level II or III in Life Cycle Logistics
  • Familiarity with ERP logistics systems (NetSuite, Sales Force FS), and MS Office
  • Working knowledge of NAVSUP, AFLCMC, or Marine Corps logistics procedures

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree and/or relevant military experience in Logistics, Engineering, Business, or related

US Salary Range
$120,000.00-$160,000.00 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate and is based on a wide variety of compensation factors. The salary offered to candidates will vary based on a variety of factors including (but not limited to) relevant work experience, education, specialized training, critical expertise, training, and more.
