Supply Chain Distribution Planning Manager

Louis Vuitton Americas is seeking aSupply Chain Distribution Planning Manager. As a key member of the Supply Chain team, you will manage a specific product category and designated region across the Americas, optimizing inventory to support commercial goals and overall business performance.

This role partners closely with Merchandising, Logistics, Retail, and the central Supply Chain team in Paris. The Distribution Planning Manager will balance distribution strategy with sales opportunities while driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and the development of tools that enhance the team’s daily efficiency.

Missions

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage inventory levels for an assigned product category within the designated zone.
  • Maintain an optimal stock balance to maximize sales and minimize depreciation.
  • Analyze sales opportunities in support of category business objectives.
  • Develop ad hoc tools and reports using Excel and Power BI to improve operations and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with central Supply Chain and local Merchandising teams.
  • Manage an assigned group of Louis Vuitton Americas stores.
  • Optimize inventory levels across stores within the region.
  • Identify and execute stock-rebalancing opportunities.
  • Monitor order fulfillment to maximize sales and provide clear visibility to Retail teams.
  • Support regional business priorities and daily operations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Build strong partnerships with Retail, regional Merchandising, Operations, Performance, and Logistics teams.
  • Work closely with the Supply Chain team at central headquarters.
  • Communicate inventory risks, opportunities, and recommended actions to key stakeholders.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives that improve stock availability and business performance.

Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence

  • Develop reporting tools and processes that improve the team’s efficiency.
  • Use data analysis and business intelligence to identify operational opportunities.
  • Support change-management initiatives and adherence to Supply Chain standard operating procedures.
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects and evolving business priorities.
Profil

The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of experience in distribution, allocation, or supply chain, with a proven track record of managing complex product flows in a luxury or fashion environment. Ability to demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, project-management, and problem-solving abilities, along with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment is required.

We are excited to speak with individuals who have strong working knowledge of data analysis, business intelligence reporting tools, order-management systems, Power BI, and SQL. Proficiency in Python is considered a plus. The successful candidate will also demonstrate a commercial mindset, agility, sound decision-making, emotional intelligence, innovation, team spirit, and a commitment to client-centric excellence.

The appointed candidate will be offered a salary range of USD $100,000 to $120,000, a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks and two retirement plans both with employer contributions.

The position requires 4 days per week on site in the Louis Vuitton Corporate Office, located in the heart of Midtown, Manhattan.
