Job description

Role Summary:

The Operations & Logistics Coordinator provides cross-functional support across Compliance, Logistics, Quality Control, and operational project coordination. This role serves as a central resource for ensuring operational processes are executed accurately and efficiently while supporting communication, documentation, and collaboration across multiple departments.

The Operations & Logistics Coordinator will help maintain compliance with customer requirements, facilitate logistics operations, support quality initiatives, and coordinate projects that improve organizational effectiveness.

Location: Pompano Beach, FL

Reports To: Director of Supply Chain

Direct Reports: None

Responsibilities

  • Compliance Support
    • Manage customer chargeback processes, including documentation, follow-up, and resolution.
    • Support new customer onboarding activities and ensure accurate customer account setup.
    • Maintain and update customer routing guides and routing matrix information.
    • Ensure compliance documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained according to company standards.
  • Logistics Support
    • Perform systematic container updates and monitor shipment status throughout the transportation process.
    • Prepare and maintain logistics documentation and shipping paperwork.
    • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery information.
    • Assist in resolving logistics-related issues to support on-time customer deliveries.
  • Quality Control Support
    • Monitor and follow up on quality control documentation to ensure completion within established deadlines.
    • Coordinate with Customer Service and other departments to investigate and resolve quality-related issues.
    • Maintain organized quality documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Project Coordination & Administrative Support

    • Schedule and coordinate cross-functional meetings and operational reviews.
    • Prepare detailed meeting agendas, record meeting minutes, and distribute action items.
    • Track project deliverables and follow up with stakeholders to ensure commitments and deadlines are met.
    • Provide administrative and operational support to improve communication and workflow across departments.

Education

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics, operations management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Experience

  • 1-2 years of experience in operations, logistics, administrative coordination, or a related role.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Experience coordinating multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Experience with ERP, order management, or business systems preferred.
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and organizational skills.
