JOB OVERVIEW

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing the flow of goods and services, ensuring timely and quality delivery from supplier to customer. This position oversees logistics operations, including inventory management and shipping procedures.

ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES (includes but not limited to)

  • Manage warehouse operations to ensure raw materials and finished goods meet production and customer timelines.
  • Approve and audit freight invoices and monitor daily deliveries.
  • Coordinate transportation providers for timely and accurate shipments, including heavy haul enclosures.
  • Develop efficient and organized supply chain processes.
  • Collaborate with sales, estimating, purchasing, receiving, and production for effective shipping schedules.
  • Address customer inquiries on orders, products, and policies.
  • Exhibit strong listening, communication, creative thinking, and documentation skills.
  • Understand Motor Carrier regulations and DOT compliance.
  • Verify accuracy of purchase orders and shipping documents.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding sales quotes, pack-slips, inventory, and receiving documents.
  • Able to create standard shipping documentation.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
