Description:
You should have 3+ years of experience working in logistics and operations. You will have dealt with manufacturing or logistics in China, will understand the challenges involved with international shipping and freight, and will know how to build agile teams who can identify inefficiencies and make changes quickly.
You should be excited by unique logistical challenges, have a demonstrated track record of success building and scaling operations teams, and have a strong opinion on how to create and maintain a positive company culture. Relevant experience in logistics and implementation consulting are also beneficial.
You will own the operations process from end-to-end. You should see how every service provider on our platform can potentially impact our customers. You should know what processes to put in place to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Must Have:
  • Bachelors' Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 -5 years in operations and logistics (particularly with Asia) or 3+ years within strategy consulting with a big logistics exposure
  • Knowledge of customs clearance, tariffs, freight claims, insurance and federal/state requirements
  • Recruiting and hiring experience
  • Passion for logistics and for technological solutions to logistics challenges
  • Willingness to travel to Asia, Europe, and South America throughout the year
  • Results-driven, analytical thinker
  • Self-starter, self-directed by nature
