Quality Liquid Feeds is seeking a detail-oriented Rail Logistics & Purchasing Assistant to support our Purchasing team. This role is responsible for coordinating purchase orders, tracking rail shipments, maintaining pricing data, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and records.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support for rail logistics operations and administrative tasks
  • Track and manage rail car shipments, reporting, and documentation
  • Monitor inventory movement and assist with rail logistics reporting
  • Create and manage purchase orders
  • Enter and reconcile rail freight and ingredient invoices
  • Maintain accurate pricing, cost data, and monthly price updates
  • Communicate with internal teams, suppliers, and rail transportation partners
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in business or related field
  • 1+ year of administrative, purchasing, or logistics experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
