About the Role 

Talarico for Texas is hiring an Operations Manager to join James Talarico's US Senate campaign. This is a full-time, paid position ideal for a highly organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, keeps teams coordinated, and ensures day-to-day operations run efficiently. The Operations Manager will manage daily campaign headquarters operations, supervise Operations Associates, and oversee the administrative and logistical systems which keep the campaign running smoothly. This role is responsible for maintaining strong operations processes, supporting staff, and ensuring campaign priorities are executed effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of campaign headquarters, including office logistics, administrative systems, and staff support functions
  • Supervise Operations Associates, providing guidance, task management, and support to ensure operational goals are met
  • Ensure campaign headquarters remains organized, well-stocked, and equipped to support campaign staff 
  • Manage administrative and operational processes, including internal documentation, receipts, invoices, office supplies, and vendor coordination
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes across departments
  • Support other operational and administrative projects as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications 

  • 2+ years of experience in political campaigns, government offices, operations, or other relevant experience
  • Experience supervising staff or managing teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple moving pieces under pressure
  • Exhibits discretion and sound judgment in handling sensitive political, personal, and confidential information
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across departments and manage competing priorities 
  • Comfortable with nontraditional hours, reflecting the pace and demands of a statewide campaign
  • Commitment to the mission, values, and success of the Talarico for Texas campaign

Benefits

Salary: $6,000 - $7,000 per month
