Operations Director - Americas - High-Value & Secure Logistics

As part of the ICAT network, AVA Global Logistics represents our specialized division focused on secure, high-value asset transportation, including banknotes, refined and unrefined precious metals, and other valuable commodities. To support AVA's expansion into additional high-value sectors and further strengthen ICAT's capabilities, we are looking for top-tier talent to join our growing team.


The Opportunity

We are hiring a Operations Director - Americas to lead regional secure logistics operations, with significant oversight of cash processing and banknote operations.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for operational performance, Federal Reserve compliance, CIT oversight, and third-party cash processing governance across the Americas.

The role includes hands-on leadership in daily cash processing activities in the New York and New Jersey market.


What You'll Be Responsible For

Drive multi country operational performance across secure logistics environments

Own KPIs across service, cost, quality, and safety

Align operational capacity with commercial growth and client commitments

Oversee third party cash processing providers and CIT partners

Ensure full compliance with U.S. Federal Reserve deposit standards and documentation requirements

Lead end to end banknote handling including vaulting, reconciliation, shipment integrity, and deposit execution

Govern counterfeit detection, discrepancy resolution, balancing controls, and variance management

Track shortage and overage rates, deposit timeliness, and operational risk indicators

Enforce high security standards across all operations

Maintain regulatory compliance in high value and high risk logistics environments

Strengthen operational controls, audits, and risk mitigation processes

Lead and develop regional operations teams

Build accountability, ownership, and performance culture

Drive succession planning and leadership capability

Champion a customer-centric mindset and ensure consistent, high-quality service.

Monitor and improve service levels, ensuring client satisfaction and contractual adherence.


What We're Looking For

10+ years leading regional or multi country operations in secure logistics, cash processing, or high value environments

Direct experience in cash processing, banknote logistics, or CIT operations

Strong knowledge of Federal Reserve compliance and regulatory frameworks

Proven success managing third party providers in secure environments

Experience leading cross border teams

Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field

Fluent English. Additional languages are a plus
