Job Summary
The Logistics Team Member (LTM) is a versatile, cross-functional warehouse operations role responsible for performing the full range of warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, order processing, inventory control, and cycle count support. LTMs are the operational backbone of the warehouse and distribution functions, providing Mesa Power Solutions with the workforce flexibility to deploy team members across all logistics functions as business needs require. The LTM reports to the Warehouse Supervisor, Receiving Supervisor, Shipping Supervisor or Cycle Count Coordinator depending on assigned functional area.
Essential Duties
  • Accept, inspect, and process inbound deliveries; verify accuracy against purchase orders and flag discrepancies, damage, or missing items.
  • Pack, label, and ship outbound orders accurately and on schedule.
  • Report and coordinate return of damaged or defective product.
  • Maintain all shipping and receiving records in the WMS and related systems.
  • Conduct daily and periodic cycle counts in assigned warehouse and distribution center locations in accordance with Mesa standards and procedures.
  • Track, log, and reconcile physical inventory counts against system stock levels, report discrepancies to supervision on the appropriate form.
  • Maintain shelf stock reconciliation at or above 90% inventory accuracy.
  • Identify, document, and flag damaged or inoperative inventory for adjustment under supervisory guidance.
  • Assist in compiling and processing inventory adjustment documents as directed.
  • Run and review usage reports to support stock replenishment requests.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to transport, stage, and store product safely and efficiently.
  • Stock, rotate, and organize inventory locations to maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Support kitting, service fulfillment, and other value-added logistics tasks as assigned.
  • Use WMS and inventory software to monitor stock levels and complete order fulfillment transactions.
  • Communicate with supervisors and team members to resolve product, shipping, or receiving issues.
  • All other duties assigned.

Education
Required
  • High School or GED

Preferred
  • 2 Year / Associate Degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or related field.

Experience
Required
  • 1 year of previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience.

Preferred
  • 1 year of forklift operation and/or cycle count experience.
  • Honorably discharged service veterans are preferred.

Certifications, Licenses & Registrations
Required
  • Ability to obtain Crane and Forklift Certifications by the end of the probationary period. Individuals who do not meet this requirement due to a physical disability will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping/receiving procedures, and inventory control principles.
  • Familiarity with cycle count processes, stock reconciliation, and inventory accuracy standards.
  • Understanding of stock discrepancy identification, documentation, and adjustment procedures.
  • Knowledge of proper product handling, storage, packaging, and labeling standards.
  • Familiarity with WMS (Warehouse Management Software) and related inventory tracking systems.
  • Awareness of quality control processes for inspecting incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Proficient in tracking, logging, and reconciling inventory records with 90%+ accuracy.
  • Skilled in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and other warehouse machinery.
  • Ability to accurately inspect shipments for damage, defects, and missing items.
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain a clean, efficient, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Competent in processing and fulfilling customer and client orders in a timely manner.
  • Effective problem-solving skills for resolving product, shipping, and inventory issues.
  • Ability to run and interpret inventory usage and adjustment reports.
  • Ability to handle and transport heavy materials safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks across receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping, and cycle count functions.
  • Ability to use WMS software to monitor inventory and manage order fulfillment transactions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, cross-functional team members, and customers.
