The Logistics Supervisor is directly responsible for managing logistics operations within Airgas Nitrogen Services, including delivery scheduling, supply forecasting, and route optimization. The Logistics Supervisor will supervise a team of CDL drivers, ensure accurate system data, and collaborate with various departments to maintain safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This position requires strong coordination, communication, and data analysis skills, along with a commitment to operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
  • Supports the ANS Logistics/Operations Manager by forecasting, planning, and scheduling bulk cryogenic gas deliveries.
  • Optimizes route planning and inventory across multiple supply sources to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Communicates frequently with internal and external customers to maintain optimal product levels and customer satisfaction.
  • Supervises and coaches CDL drivers, including scheduling, time approvals, and safety coaching through Lytx.
  • Utilizes advanced logistics systems such as Telemetry, ALTO, Lytx, SCADA, and Google Apps to track deliveries, e-logs, and inventory data.
  • Promotes a safety-first culture through accurate trip planning and strict adherence to DOT regulations.
  • Interfaces with cross-functional teams including production, distribution, operations, and sales across Airgas to ensure smooth operations and customer support.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a college degree in operations, logistics, business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience analyzing supply chain logistics or optimizing route planning.
  • Effective organizational, time management, and analytical abilities.
  • Experience supporting CDL drivers or working within DOT-regulated environments.
  • Proficiency with collaborative tools and platforms, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Google Sheets, and logistics software (Telemetry, ALTO, SCADA, Lytx).
  • Flexibility to work adaptable shifts as needed, including weekends and on-call rotations.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds and travel approximately 10% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of nitrogen pumping units and field equipment.
  • Experience guiding field teams and coordinating job site logistics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic administrative systems.
  • Adaptable leadership and communication skills thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
