The ideal candidate will be proactive, possess strong communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, dispatchers, and load planners to ensure reliable transportation services
  • Source new carriers to expand the existing carrier network and meet the company's transportation needs
  • Negotiate rates and terms with carriers to optimize profitability and service quality
  • Manage ongoing communication with carriers to secure additional truck capacity and address operational needs
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely pickup and delivery of shipments
  • Monitor carrier performance and compliance to uphold company standards
  • Resolve issues related to transportation, capacity, and scheduling efficiently and professionally
  • Maintain accurate records of carrier interactions, agreements, and performance metrics

  • Proven experience in carrier sales, transportation, or logistics preferred
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Knowledge of McLeod (TMS), DAT, Highway, and industry regulations is a plus

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Salary Description
Starting base of $50,000 plus commission!
