Logistics Operations Manager

We are seeking a hands-on leader to oversee daily operations, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities - Logistics Operations Manager
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the terminal, including freight receiving, loading, unloading, staging, dispatch, and delivery coordination.
  • Supervise and provide direction to a team of approximately five drivers responsible for transporting and handling freight.
  • Coordinate employee schedules, monitor attendance, and manage daily staffing needs.
  • Promote efficient operations while maintaining high standards of productivity and customer service.
  • Track operational performance and identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Work closely with departments such as Human Resources, Safety, Finance, Customer Service, and Sales to support overall business operations.
  • Ensures safety and compliance with FMCSA, DOT, OSHA
  • Adheres to company policies and procedures
  • Demonstrated leadership and operational management skills
  • Strong critical thinking and decision making abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage daily operations with minimal supervision
