Job description

Field Logistics Coordinator-Renewable Energy

Keep the project moving — literally. We're looking for a Field Logistics Coordinator to be the on-site engine behind our material and equipment flow, making sure everything gets where it needs to be, safely and on time. You'll be the go-to connector between field crews, suppliers, transport providers, and the central logistics team, solving on-the-ground challenges as they come up and keeping construction running without a hitch. This is an active, hands-on field labor role — perfect for someone who thrives on staying sharp, staying mobile, and keeping chaos at bay.

About the Company
Established in 2014, Gridworks is a leading EPC contractor for utility-scale solar and battery storage projects. Primarily operating across the Southwest, we are expanding into other regions. With nearly 3 GW of solar and battery energy storage projects, we are well positioned for continued success in the rapidly growing clean energy sector.

Roles and Responsibilities:

•             Tracking inventory maintenance.

•             Controlling flows of equipment and supplies.

•             Coordinate the receipt, offloading, inspection, and storage of incoming materials and equipment at the project site.

•             Verify shipments against delivery documentation (packing lists, purchase orders) and report discrepancies or damages

immediately to the logistics supervisor and logistics manager.

•             Maintain accurate inventory records of all materials and equipment on-site.

•             Coordinate with laydown yard personnel to ensure proper staging and distribution of materials.

•             Ensure all handling equipment (forklifts, cranes, rigging) is available and ready for use when needed.

•             Ensure all logistics operations comply with site safety protocols and environmental requirements.

•             Reporting to management and advising on problems, obstacles and challenges in the field.

•             Receive material into company database (CMIC) and Procore Daily Log.

•             Must be willing to travel in or out of state for logistical labor support if needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

•             Ability to work in extreme environments, cold, winter weather, hot sun

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

•             Stand for long periods of time.

•             The work can be physically demanding, and coordinators may be required to lift and move heavy objects.

Qualifications and Requirements:

•             High school diploma

•             Previous experience in utility scale construction inventory, receiving and logistics, 1 to 2 years.

•             Knowledge of construction practices OSHA 10 preferred.

•             All-Terrain Forklift, skid steer, warehouse forklift Certification a plus

•             Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Must be able to follow instructions.

•             Insurability, must have clean driving record, and valid drivers’ license

•             Ability to pass background checks and pre-employment and random drug screenings.
