Description
Logistics One equipment operators are responsible for the unloading/loading of trailers using a clamp truck, and arranging bays of product when needed. Along with operating the actual equipment, Clamp Truck operators also utilize a handheld electronic device to receive/send loading information, and inputting info as work is being done for live time data feedback. Safety is a core value of Logistics One, operators must always perform job functions with a safety first mindset.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform each duty with safety and efficiency.
  • Pull inventory from the correct location as per pick instructions via tablet.
  • Stage inventory, load out-bound shipments from staged inventory or live load w/clamp truck.
  • Unload in-bound inventory and place in proper storage location w/clamp truck.
  • Accurately complete proper documentation for load and unload.
  • Use sound housekeeping during each activity cleaning and putting tools and equipment in its proper location.
  • Perform forklift inspections as per OSHA and/or Logistics One requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned by warehouse management.

Shifts: Days 6am-6pm / Overnights 6pm-6am This posting (Schedule hire for discussed during hiring process.)
Base Hourly starting rate: Day shift $17.50 - Overnight shift $18.50 ($125wkly incentive in addition to base)

Requirements
Physical Demands: Ability to operator sit down equipment for extended periods of time 12hr shift, ability to safely climb into & out of equipment. Walking on concrete floors. Ability to perform general activities that may occur in a warehouse environment.
Skills Required: Safety conscious, attention to detail, able to work with minimal supervision, strong forklift skills with various attachments, read from pick sheets, pull inventory and accurately document inventory movements. Basic computer skills or willingness to learn are required for some basic duties.
Work Environment: Busy warehouse environment is not climate controlled; Incumbent must dress accordingly. Safety shoes required as well as the use of other PPE as required for the job function.
