Job description
The Logistics Operator is responsible for supporting the efficient flow of materials throughout the manufacturing process by receiving, organizing, transporting, and staging materials for production operations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining production continuity through accurate inventory handling, timely replenishment of production materials, and kitting of production orders in accordance with manufacturing schedules and work instructions.
Primary responsibilities include receiving incoming materials, verifying inventory accuracy, organizing warehouse and production stock, and preparing material kits for manufacturing operations. The Logistics Operator also supports outbound shipping activities, including packaging finished goods, preparing shipping documentation, and coordinating shipments to meet customer and operational requirements.
In addition, this role is responsible for supporting export compliance activities through the accurate preparation and filing of export documentation using the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) system in accordance with applicable U.S. export regulations.
The Logistics Operator serves as a key liaison between production, inventory, receiving, and shipping functions to ensure materials and products move efficiently, accurately, and safely throughout the facility.

• Systematically receive raw materials and production supplies using the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
• Verify incoming materials against packing slips and purchase orders to ensure accuracy and report discrepancies as needed
• Store and organize inventory in designated warehouse and production locations
• Kit and stage materials for production orders in accordance with work instructions and manufacturing schedules
• Deliver materials and components to production areas to support continuous manufacturing operations
• Prepare, package, and label finished goods for shipment following company and customer requirements
• Coordinate outbound shipments, including scheduling pickups with carriers and ensuring on-time dispatch
• Generate and process shipping documentation (e.g., packing lists, bills of lading, shipping labels)
• File export documentation through the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) system in compliance with U.S. export regulations
• Verify accuracy of shipments, including part numbers, quantities, and documentation prior to release
• Perform physical inventory counts and support inventory accuracy initiatives
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and transport of materials to prevent damage or loss
• Communicate with cross-functional teams to resolve material, inventory, or shipment issues
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
Candidate skills & requirements
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Experience with SAP ByDesign (preferred)
Experience with Fedex/UPS software/applications.
Experience with ACE/AES for export filings (preferred)
Well versed in the Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to read, interpret and follow directions with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work accordingly.
A proactive mindset and a genuine eagerness to learn and grow.
Ability to work independently with little direction.
Ability to perform common warehouse tasks such as lifting up to 50lbs, standing for long periods of time, conformance to proper PPE requirements.
