Description
A Brokerage Logistics Coordinator provides strategic logistics support to our TLD Logistics brokerage division. The role will monitor pickups and deliveries as well as providing updates and rate quotes to customers. The core responsibilities include problem solving, communicating with carriers and customers, tracking orders in our transportation management system, order building, shipping documentation support and quoting customers.
Full time position: Hours from 16:00 - 23:59 Monday - Friday.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Track and trace orders
• Providing shipment updates
• Building new orders
• Provide expedite services
• Assist with paperwork/documentation
• Replying to customer requests
• Replying to carrier requests
• Interaction with carrier and customer stakeholders
• Professional discourse over the phone
• Provide timely tracking and tracing
• Detail oriented
• Multitask between various forms of communication (email, phone, text, IM)
• Rely on sense of urgency around time sensitive shipments
• Resolve transportation issues that occur during transit of goods
• Strong communication skills set
• Other support activities
Working conditions
• Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Working conditions cover a range of circumstances from weekdays, evening, and weekends.

Requirements
• Associate degree preferred
• 1-3 years' experience in logistics/transportation preferred (3PL/Brokerage a plus)
• Competency in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent geographical knowledge
• Professional organizational, verbal and written skills
• Ability to multi-task and detail oriented

$21.63-$25.00 depending upon experience
