THIS IS AN EXEMPT POSITIONSummaryDirects and coordinates Global Logistical program activities designed to provide partner companies, management, and customers with logistical support that ensures effective and economical supply chain within in the Global Industrial Food Ingredient Industry.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following (Other duties may be assigned)Analyzes contractual commitments, customer specifications, current systems, and other data to plan and develop logistic program activities from conceptual stage through life-cycle of product.Develops and implements program activities, coordinates efforts of subcontractors (3pl Warehouse/Carriers/Brokers), production departments and resolves problems in area of logistics to ensure meeting of contractual commitments and inventory control.Compiles data on standardization and interchangeability processes to expedite and streamline logistics activities.Arranges and Coordinate daily/weekly/monthly shipments for all sales/trading/purchasing/importing activities.Performs special research or technical studies critical to logistic support functions.Utilizes computer techniques for analysis, simulation or information systems and documentation.
