Job description

Trek Travel provides global cycling, hiking, and walking vacations of a lifetime with the goal of helping more people actively explore and experience the world. We're hiring a Logistics Coordinator based in Madison, WI to support our North American operations and bike sales program.
This role is a hands-on position supporting bike fleet operations, equipment logistics, and bike sales. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with Logistics, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth operations and an outstanding guest experience.

POSITION RESPONSIBILTIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Bike Sales & Customer Support
  • Manage bike and equipment sales, including webstore administration, order fulfillment, and customer communication/issue resolution
  • Partner with Marketing on promotions and customer outreach
  • Track and report sales performance against goals

Logistics & Inventory
  • Coordinate daily operations with NA Logistics Manager
  • Receive, inventory, and track equipment in inventory management systems
  • Support day-to-day warehouse organization and uphold the standards for stocking

Bike Fleet & Equipment
  • Maintain bike fleet and provide remote mechanical support for field issues to ensure bikes are awesome for our guests
  • Assist with loading/unloading bikes and equipment
  • Box and ship bikes and equipment

Vehicles & Facilities
  • Maintain company vehicles and racking systems
  • Conduct annual inspections and support outfitting of vans/trailers

Reporting & Projects
  • Support tracking and reporting (Excel, Power BI, NetSuite)
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Other projects as assigned

YOU HAVE:
Required
  • 2+ years of bike mechanic experience (Shimano Di2, hydraulic braking, SRAM)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills (verbal and written) - English required
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Valid driver's license, Passport to travel through the US and/or Europe
  • The ability to lift and move bikes and equipment (up to 100 lbs.) and perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment
  • Availability Monday - Friday, with flexibility to cover occasional night or weekend events or support
  • You believe in the importance of hospitality and customer service, and recognizing customers are all around.
  • You demonstrate a positive, solution-oriented mindset and always ask "How can I help?"
  • You exude fun and flexibility while contributing to the overall success of the Logistics Team.
  • Takes initiative to continuously improve processes and is solution oriented.
Preferred
  • Experience managing bike fleets or rental programs
  • Experience with inventory or ERP systems (NetSuite, etc.)
  • Spanish language skills
