QuickSTAT, a leader in time-critical healthcare and life sciences logistics, is seeking a National Air Logistics Healthcare Manager to lead and optimize our Air Logistics Healthcare operations across North America. This role is responsible for managing daily operational activities, driving service excellence, improving efficiencies, and ensuring the successful execution of mission-critical healthcare shipments.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, extensive logistics operations experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a highly regulated and time-sensitive environment.

How you create impact
  • Lead and manage national healthcare air logistics operations to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Oversee daily operational activities and drive continuous process improvements.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Manage, coach, and develop healthcare logistics team members across the network.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing employee feedback and training.
  • Ensure all employees complete required operational, compliance, and recurring training.
  • Assign responsibilities and maintain accurate job descriptions for team members.
  • Monitor staffing levels, workforce productivity, and labor costs.
  • Create schedules and staffing plans based on business volumes and operational needs.
  • Review employee attendance and performance, addressing issues as necessary.
  • Partner with Human Resources on employee relations matters and performance management.
  • Approve employee leave requests and support payroll and scheduling processes.
  • Ensure contingency and emergency response plans are established and effectively executed.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Business Development teams on customer solutions, service offerings, and pricing initiatives.
  • Participate in management meetings and contribute to strategic business planning.
  • Drive operational excellence initiatives focused on service quality, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Support business growth by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, services, and operational capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare, life sciences, customer, and company operational requirements.
What we would like you to bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in air freight, healthcare logistics, life sciences logistics, or related transportation operations.
  • Experience managing multi-site or national logistics operations preferred.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare, life sciences, temperature-controlled, and time-critical transportation environments.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and drive operational improvements.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with transportation management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
