SteerBridge is seeking a Lead AI/Data Analyst to support the Marine Corps Logistics GPN program. This role serves as the lead analyst and coordinator at the Pentagon, overseeing an off-site team of junior and mid-level data analysts responsible for transforming complex logistics data into actionable metrics that support mission readiness and operational decision-making.

Position Overview

The Lead AI/Data Analyst will establish data standards, deploy automation tools to extract, synthesize, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources, and ensure the integrity and quality of enterprise data. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and modeling and simulation tools to develop predictive models, create visualizations, and deliver data-driven insights that enhance logistics operations.

This position is based at the Pentagon with oversight of a distributed analytics team supporting Marine Corps logistics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Data Analytics & Leadership
  • Serve as the lead analyst and coordinator at the Pentagon.
  • Oversee and mentor an off-site team of junior and mid-level data analysts.
  • Implement and maintain data standards across the program.
  • Coordinate data analysis efforts to support Marine Corps logistics operations.
Data Engineering & Automation
  • Deploy automation tools to extract, synthesize, validate, and transform data from multiple sources.
  • Construct and maintain datasets for reporting and analysis.
  • Monitor data quality and troubleshoot database issues to ensure data integrity.
  • Utilize Python, R, SQL, and other scripting and querying tools to automate data processes.
Artificial Intelligence & Advanced Analytics
  • Develop algorithms, user interfaces, and data visualizations.
  • Apply AI and machine learning frameworks, including TensorFlow and PyTorch, to build predictive models and recommend optimal solutions.
  • Analyze complex datasets using statistical methods and data modeling techniques.
  • Produce reports, dashboards, and data files using business intelligence and visualization tools.
Modeling & Simulation
  • Utilize high-resolution modeling and simulation software such as ExtendSim.
  • Apply simulation optimization tools such as OptDef to evaluate complex operational scenarios.
  • Support decision-making through advanced modeling and analytical techniques.
DoD Logistics Data Support
  • Work with Department of Defense logistics systems, including TFSMS, GCSS-MC, and MCPIC.
  • Manipulate logistics data sources to support model inputs and analytical solutions.
  • Ensure data is accurately captured, integrated, and utilized for operational analysis.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 8+ years of related experience.
  • Secret Clearance
  • Expertise developing algorithms, user interfaces, synthesizing data, and creating visualizations using Python or R.
  • Experience utilizing scripting and querying tools such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Experience applying AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch to develop predictive models and analyze complex datasets.
  • Experience using high-resolution modeling and simulation software (e.g., ExtendSim) and simulation optimization tools (e.g., OptDef).
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense logistics systems, including TFSMS, GCSS-MC, and MCPIC, and the ability to manipulate these data sources for model input.
  • Experience with statistical analysis, data modeling, business intelligence tools, and dashboard development.
