Job description

As part of the Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing solutions that keep goods moving efficiently. Whether you're leading a team, engineering processes, or driving projects, your work ensures that our customers' products are stored, handled, and delivered with precision. From everyday essentials to seasonal items, what we do in Contract Logistics impacts businesses and communities around the world. At Kuehne+Nagel, your contribution goes far beyond the warehouse-it helps shape the flow of global trade.

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) will manage customer queries and complaints. Your typical work schedule will be Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, and will be paid weekly at $20.00 per hour.

How you create impact

The CSR will also process orders, modifications, and escalate complaints across a number of communication channels.

To do well in this role you need to perform the following:

Perform administrative tasks for area or shift
Maintain filing systems and documents per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
Interact with customers and employees, answering questions regarding shipment times, product cuts, loads not picked up by the carrier, and damage claims
Coordinate processing of export orders in the AES system.
Using the WMS system, update area or shift metrics as needed
Additional duties as assigned, overtime as needed
Secondary support of local team as needed

What we would like you to bring

Minimum of 2 years customer service experience working with warehouse management systems, order management systems and/or Manhattan
HS Diploma or GED or BS/BA degree in Logistics, Biology, Business Management, Industrial Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Working knowledge of warehouse operational procedures, including receiving, order processing, picking, packing, shipping, inventory management and cycle counting.
Knowledge of major WMS functions and how they relate to operational procedures
Strong interpersonal skills to include communication, presentation, and resolution management with an ability to remain calm and exhibit professional behavior at all times
Working knowledge of MS Office
