Job description

The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and executing shipping, receiving, and inventory management activities to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods and materials.
  • Leads team of hourly shipping / receiving associates
  • Prepares shipping documents, labels, and packaging materials for outbound shipments
  • Coordinates with carriers and logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries
  • Receives incoming shipments, inspects goods for damage or discrepancies, and processes receipts in inventory systems
  • Performs inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical inventory and system records
  • Maintains organized and efficient warehouse and storage areas
  • Leads inventory control tasks, including cycle counts and stock rotation
  • Supports annual Physical Inventory
  • Supports training for all employees (i.e.: forklift, stand-up lift)
  • Back-up for Materials Manager; fills in for out-of-office, etc.

Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

Minimum Experience Required
  • Five (5) years of related experience

License(s) and/or Certification(s) Required
