Job description

Job Details:

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for learning all aspects of the Tyson Warehousing Group which will also include gaining knowledge of Tyson Transportation Outside Transportation and Outside Warehousing. This position may require the holder to work various shifts during the training phase in order to learn additional facets of the operations. Specific responsibilities include ensuring an entrepreneurial ownership in area of direct responsibility working with all location support departments Maintenance HR Inventory Control etc. to ensure coordinated efficient production of a quality product to meet our company s commitments. Other responsibilities include administrative duties such as attending to the maintenance of Team Member time cards calendars and benefit needs educating Team Members and communicating with the Team Members to promote high morale and productivity. Other duties include promoting a safe working environment helping the location management team whenever called upon to do so which may involve performing a supervisors duties in their absence and performing other responsibilities as the need arises.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Knowledge as such is normally acquired through completion a two or four year degree program.
  • Experience: Not required but preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills
  • Communication Skills: Must have good communication skills bilingual skills preferred.
  • Shift :Various Shifts including weekends and nights
  • Travel: 3-6 trips during program Supervisory Responsibilities: None Special Skills: Ability to work well with others.
