Job description

BrightKey is looking for an experienced Mailroom Customer Service Associate in Tallahassee, FL! We offer competitive benefits, paid time off, and a 401K program with a company match. This position involves working with a team operating a mailroom in an office building. You will be sorting, screening, and delivering mail in person within the office building. If you are organized, have excellent attention to detail, customer service skills and are passionate about ensuring smooth mail operations, we'd love to hear from you!
Compensation & Benefits for the Mailroom Customer Service Associate:

  • Starting pay rate of $15.50 - $16.50 per hour

Hours & Logistics:
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday
  • Hours: First Shift (7:30am - 4:30pm)
  • Location: Downtown Tallahassee

Mailroom Customer Service Associate Responsibilities:
  • Inbound Mail and Package Sorting
  • Processing Outbound Mail and Packages
  • Signing for Incoming Packages
  • Delivering mail and packages within the office building to customers
  • Assisting in various duties as assigned
  • This position could occasionally act as a backup driver to deliver mail to other locations. This would include operating a company vehicle in the local area.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Prior Corporate/office Mail Room, or Postal Service (USPS) Experience is strongly preferred,
  • Familiarity and Experience with Mail Room Equipment (postage machines, scanners, etc.)
  • Good customer service skills is required as this position supports onsite customers
  • Organizational Skills & Experience
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Professional Communications & Ability to Work with Vendors
  • Basic Computer and Data Entry Skills
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Ability to Lift Boxes/Packages (up to 75lbs)
