Job Title: Logistics Agent

Location: Radius Logistics Avon, MA - On-site
Position Type: Full-Time | In-Person

Job Summary

The Logistics Agent plays a vital role in the efficient operation of Radius Logistics' warehouse and distribution functions. This dual role office/warehouse position requires strong multitasking skills, adaptability to changing priorities, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

General Operations

  • Distribute, store, and manage inventory while maintaining accurate records of all items handled.
  • Complete assigned workloads and daily tasks efficiently.
  • Label boxes, crates, and other materials for easy identification.
  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Verify, label, and document incoming and outgoing cargo.

Inventory & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate inventory records for items shipped, received, and stored.
  • Process orders, invoices, deliveries, and inventory documentation for accuracy.
  • Coordinate the timely receipt, storage, and delivery of cargo and materials.

Equipment & Safety

  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery (forklift certification required).
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and coordinate necessary repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Monitor and promote safety measures throughout the warehouse.
  • Manually lift and move packages up to 50 lbs. as required.

Communication & Coordination

  • Work closely with warehouse associates and operational departments to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, truckers, and management.
  • Identify and troubleshoot workflow or process issues as they arise.
  • Support new initiatives and adapt to frequent changes in daily operations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain one).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and operate warehouse machinery.
  • Experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution environments preferred.
  • Attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to safety.
