Job description

Client: Autonomous Vehicle/Tech

Title: Manufacturing Operations – Logistics Associate 2

Job Location: Los Angeles, CA

Duration: ~6 Months

Onsite in Los Angeles, CA / 5 days per week

The hourly pay rate is commensurate with experience and is an estimated rate provided by WorkGenius.

As a Logistics Associate 2 supporting manufacturing operations, you’ll be responsible for understanding and adhering to warehouse processes, maintaining inventory integrity, and supporting operational process improvements related to kitting, lineside delivery to general assembly, milk-run preparation, and execution to provide a great customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Support warehouse material flow processes to and from the dock, production, and shipping areas using appropriate transport methods, including forklifts and on-foot movement.
  • Use systems and technology to input and retrieve inventory and parts data and process material movements throughout the warehouse.
  • Maintain 5S standards within the work area.
  • Demonstrate initiative and a strong focus on driving results.
  • Uncrate critical components for general assembly customers and support maintenance and repair teams within service centers.
  • Support indirect material storage and key stakeholders across the network.
  • Adhere to all warehouse safety standards, including required PPE.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • User-level computer proficiency, including Google Docs and Google Sheets.
  • SAP experience is a plus.
  • Experience driving a forklift or operating warehouse equipment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to operate heavy warehouse equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • A “get it done” attitude and sense of urgency when resolving problems and completing tasks.
  • Ability to collaborate successfully across warehouse and production teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
