Job description

One Federal Solution (OFS) is seeking an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Specialist to support the U.S. Coast Guard Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) Program Resident Office (PRO). This role will provide logistics, outfitting, and configuration management support in a shipbuilding acquisition environment to ensure readiness and alignment with program requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare outfitting and configuration management materials, including charts, reports, briefings, and presentations for project reviews
  • Generate ad hoc outfitting reports and status updates
  • Participate in outfitting material activities aboard cutters
  • Participate in Physical Configuration Audits (PCA) and related review activities
  • Attend meetings related to assigned tasks and provide presentations regarding outfitting and PCA status
  • Support configuration management and logistics lifecycle sustainment activities
  • Assist with equipment validation, storeroom placements, VIN marking, product tracking, and logistics impact analysis
  • Support Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) processes and documentation activities
  • Coordinate with Government personnel and program stakeholders to support shipbuilding and outfitting operations
  • Develop reports, briefs, presentations, and supporting program documentation
Required Qualifications
  • At least three (3) years of experience supporting logistics, configuration management, or shipbuilding processes
  • Comprehensive knowledge of shipbuilding processes including, but not limited to:
    • Technical Assessment Reviews (TAR)
    • Proposal development
    • Equipment lifecycle cost analysis
    • Logistics lifecycle sustainment
    • Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) processes
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) processes
  • Comprehensive knowledge of ship outfitting and load-out activities
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Configuration Management principles and processes
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Physical Configuration Audits (PCA)
  • Knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to organize, plan, conduct, evaluate, and administer outfitting and configuration management programs
  • Ability to produce reports, briefings, and presentations
  • Experience with vessel outfitting, equipment validation, storeroom placements, VIN marking, product tracking, and logistics impact analysis
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software suite including Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within team environments
Education Requirements
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in a business field or related technical/business field required
  • Additional four (4) years of relevant experience beyond the required minimum years of experience may substitute for the degree requirement
Security Requirements
  • Secret clearance highly Preferred
