Job Summary
Responsible for ensuring accurate order processing, pricing, and procurement while delivering dependable service to customers. Supports associates and customers through transparent communication, teamwork, and unwavering commitment to operational excellence.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
  • Processes orders across multiple channels, including phone, email, text, and counter, ensuring accuracy and timely service delivery.
  • Manages basic pricing within established guidelines to maintain margin goals.
  • Coordinates non-stock procurement and logistics to meet customer needs.
  • Handles payments securely, including credit card, check, and cash transactions.
  • Identifies stock products and recommends comparable alternatives to support customer requirements.
  • Ensures service commitments through proactive coordination and follow-up.
  • Maintains accurate records and documentation for transactions and procurement activities.
  • Guides and trains junior associates to promote teamwork and dependable performance.

Nature and Scope
  • Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor.
  • Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor.
  • None.

Work Environment
  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience
  • HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. Specialized skills training/certification may be required. Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 to 2 years' inside sales or customer service experience.
  • Ability to manage procurement processes and coordinate logistics.
  • Strong organizational skills for handling multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrates leadership qualities through mentoring and guidance.
  • Proficient in order management systems and basic reporting tools.
