Hiring Immediately!Warehouse Logistics Specialist

Starting at $23.50/hr

7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday-Friday

Location: Kent, Washington

As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hypertherm, OMAX provides innovative waterjet solutions and world-class aftermarket service with the added resources of a global company with the stability of an over 50-year history with no layoffs.

We're looking for full-time Warehouse Logistics Specialists at OMAX, located in Kent, WA to play an important role in loading, unloading, and moving inventory/materials to or from warehouses and storage inside and outside using a forklift, stock picker, pallet jacks and hand trucks.

In this role, you will have an impact by performing the following job duties:

  • Load and unload ocean containers and trucks using a crowbar, claw hammer and/or other hand tools

  • Pick and stage inventory against sales orders, work orders and material requisitions

  • Manual and clerical work related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and delivering a variety of materials, equipment, and supplies

  • Maintaining stockroom

  • Perform data entry

  • Process incoming and outgoing shipments

  • Prepare and package spares and machine orders for shipping and special assignments as required

Qualifications:

  • 18 years or older

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and maintain attention to detail

  • Familiarity with handhelp electronic devices and computers

  • Strong time management skills

  • Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills

  • Ability to be certified as a fork truck operator and willing to operate a forklift, must have certification for the role

Preferred:

  • 2 or more years of experience in a production environment or Associates Degree and 1 or more years of experience in a production environment

  • Previous experience in a Lean Process enterprise

  • Experience with Oracle or another compatible WMS

  • Material Handling Equipment certified
