We are a single-source solution for the design and implementation of sophisticated mechanical and plumbing systems. Our integrated in-house production model utilizes coordinated BIM models to produce precise fabrication documentation to help ensure accurate installation.

Job Summary

The Logistics Manager is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the planning, movement, and availability of materials, equipment, and resources required to support mechanical construction projects from initiation through closeout. This role ensures efficient supply chain operations, jobsite readiness, and alignment with project schedules while maintaining cost control and safety compliance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

 

Logistics & Operations Management

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute the delivery of materials, tools, and equipment to project sites
  • Develop and manage logistics strategies aligned with project schedules and operational needs
  • Ensure timely and accurate distribution of materials across multiple job sites
  • Monitor and optimize supply chain workflows to reduce delays and inefficiencies

Inventory & Warehouse Management

  • Oversee inventory control systems, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting
  • Manage warehouse operations, including material staging, storage, and organization
  • Lead shipping and receiving processes, including inspection and verification
  • Ensure proper material handling practices and compliance with safety standards

Equipment & Tool Management

  • Oversee tool crib operations, including issuance, tracking, maintenance, and accountability
  • Manage equipment logistics, including scheduling, usage tracking, maintenance, and returns
  • Coordinate equipment rentals and ensure cost-effective utilization
  • Monitor and report on tool and equipment condition, damage, and loss

Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors and suppliers
  • Coordinate material orders, deliveries, discrepancies, and returns
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners
  • Collaborate internally with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Operations Leaders

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies
  • Promote safe handling, transportation, and storage of materials and equipment
  • Support fleet safety and compliance requirements

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

    • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to logistics operations
    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery timelines, inventory accuracy, and cost efficiency
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
    • Implement best practices to enhance operational effectiveness
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or construction operations
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and logistics/inventory systems (Stratus & One-Key experience is a plus but not required)  
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred:

  • Experience in mechanical construction or industrial environments
  • Knowledge of material handling equipment (MHE) and warehouse operations
  • Familiarity with construction project workflows and scheduling
  • Experience managing teams or supervisory responsibilities

 

Compensation Range:  

Minimum annual base salary $80,000 to maximum annual base salary $90,000; DOE

Other Compensation:  position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
