Job description


SAIC is looking for outstanding IT candidates to join our Defense & Civilian Sector in support of the Federal Aviation Administration Integrated Service Center (FAA ISC). SAIC leads the way to provide customer-centric IT Service Management (ITSM) focused on improving service, and leveraging processes and strategies with an emphasis on timely IT services and support.
Candidates will be a key part of a team of IT professionals who provide hardware and software support for the FAA. Candidate will be a part of the IT Hardware logistics team responsible for inbound and outbound deliveries of IT equipment, managing stock of equipment, record keeping, and customer communications.
This is an ONSITE role in Oklahoma City.
Responsibilities
  • Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties working out of a central warehouse.
  • Helps coordinate physical distribution, order fulfillment, and inventory management and control.
  • Uses computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting.
  • Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment, packs/unpacks IT equipment.
  • Identifies and researches delivery issues.
  • Maintains inventory of stock.
  • Create knowledge base articles to document procedures.

Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
  • High School and 7+ years of experience. One year of experience performing in a logistics support role.
  • Candidate must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a public trust.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to lift 40+ pounds.

Desired Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline and two (2) years related experience.
  • Experience with Record Keeping/Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to stay organized.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM tools.
  • Experience with FedEx or other delivery platforms.
  • Enjoy working as a team member as well as independently.
