Job description

Candidate Source is hiring a reliable and detail-oriented Logistics Associate / Medical Courier to support daily operations at a medical center. This role is critical in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of medical items throughout the facility while maintaining strict compliance with safety and confidentiality standards.
Key Responsibilities

  • Unload FedEx and other delivery trucks and organize incoming shipments
  • Prioritize and distribute packages efficiently throughout the facility
  • Transport, lab specimens, medical equipment and supplies between departments
  • Ensure all deliveries are completed with accuracy and urgency, especially STAT/time-sensitive items
  • Follow all HIPAA, and safety protocols
  • Handle temperature-sensitive and fragile items with proper care
  • Communicate effectively with doctors, nurses, pharmacists, lab staff, and department leaders
  • Utilize hospital communication systems, tracking tools, and delivery logs
  • Navigate the hospital efficiently and adapt to changing priorities throughout the shift
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in healthcare, logistics, delivery, or warehouse environments preferred
  • Able to work the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm Monday - Friday
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, medical setting
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to follow strict confidentiality and compliance guidelines
  • Comfortable being on your feet and walking throughout the shift
