Warehouse Manager

 

Well-established, privately owned and operated, company is looking for an organized Warehouse Manager to manage multiple locations, 20 employees, and the storage of merchandise in our warehouse. The warehouse manager will oversee daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory of the warehouse.   

If you are an experienced warehouse manager with a can-do attitude that enjoys a team environment that prides itself on excellent customer service and creative problem-solving skills, you may qualify for this position.

Essential Responsibilities:

·         Performs receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations

·         Manages daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics

·         Ensure all inventory matches up and loaded into the proper storage areas with accompanying necessary documents

·         Analyze shipment logs and review timeliness of scheduled deliveries

·         Receive, record, sort, and stock products in the warehouse throughout the day

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA requirements, and safety procedures.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and audits.
  • Resolve customer issues and operational problems quickly and professionally.
  • Coordinate with transportation, dispatch, customer service, and sales teams.
  • Establish and maintain standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor equipment and facility needs and report maintenance issues.
  • Assist with billing accuracy, accessorial charges, and documentation when applicable.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional warehouse environment.

Experience Desired:

 

·         Minimum of Three (3) years’ of proven experience managing a warehouse

·         Knowledge/experience with parts and high levels of inventory is highly desirable

·         Valid Driver’s License (Required)

·         Clean Driving Record

·         Ability to lift 60 Lbs

·         Forklift Certified is Ideal

  • Verifiable experience in logistics, distribution and/or warehousing management
  • Proven ability to function in a highly ethical, trustworthy capacity with minimal supervision
  • Experience with warehouse software Extensiv
  • Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Experience in 3PL, transportation, distribution, or logistics preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
  • Outgoing personality that can embrace the company’s desire for growth
  • High School Diploma or GED
