As part of the Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing solutions that keep goods moving efficiently. We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and develop warehouse teams, drive operational excellence, ensure inventory accuracy and safety, and optimize productivity while delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced 3PL distribution environment. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM, with overtime as needed.

  • Supervise and develop the performance of your team through effective training, coaching, and motivational strategies
  • Drive a culture of belonging in a diverse workforce where all associates feel safe, valued, and included
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide timely feedback to team members
  • Implement strategies to ensure the highest quality of work, optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity, and meet or exceed KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
  • Ensure safe operations and healthy environments for employees, customers, vendors, and visitors
  • Ensure shipments are accurate and free of damage, product is counted, and all necessary records and reports are completed accurately and on time
  • Help maintain the security of the warehouse and assure the integrity of inventory
  • Implement continuous improvement action plans
  • Be flexible to work overtime and perform other responsibilities as needed
What we would like you to bring
  • 3-4 years of management experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management discipline or manufacturing.
  • Successful record of accomplishment in leadership and supervising the work of team members.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Process Improvement.
  • Previous Operations leadership in a distribution or manufacturing environment is needed.
  • WMS experience of 2+ years.
  • At least 4-5 years as someone in a distribution/manufacturing environment.
