Job description

Position Overview

The primary responsibility of this position is to manage the corporate Architectural Wall post order fulfillment process to ensure all processes, logistics and financials are followed within customer deadlines and corporate guidelines.ย  This includes maintaining a consistent profit and service, as well as ensuring proper logging of all projects.ย  This position will work directly with Sales Representatives, Customers, Project and Service Coordinators and Shared Services to resolve issues from the receipt of the purchase order to the final installation and customer payment in full of the project.ย  It also manages the guidelines set within the Order Entry standards and builds processes and enforces compliancy.ย  The salary range for this role falls between $75,000 - $95,000/year based on skillset and experience of the candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and monitor allocation of staff and resources.
  • Continual evaluation of cost of quality by reviewing and approving costs and invoices.
  • Serve as the customer advocate for problem resolution.
  • Coordinate responsibilities with all internal and external customers.
  • Provide decisions and support with working contract disputes and initiating legal counsel.
  • Facilitate lead-time improvements through review of priorities.
  • Provide support and innovation between the Shared Services department and the Wall department on all handling of install, programs, and payment.

What you Need to Succeed

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in business and/or Design Engineering or related field; 8 or more years of directly related management experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, project estimating, or sales operations.
  • Understanding of bid specification review.
  • Understanding Construction contracts.
  • Ability to learn and develop proficiency in CAD software, including SpecEngine/CET Designer.
  • Basic understanding of the building construction process.
