Job description

We are looking for a Logistics Assistant for a shipping office role supporting route management and truck scheduling through a software system. This position is a strong fit for candidates with logistics experience, including 3PL or non-3PL environments, and for those who are comfortable working in a team-oriented setting. The role includes data entry in an ERP system and exposure to shipping operations in a shared office environment with tight quarters. Experience with Sage is acceptable, and candidates should be teachable and willing to learn new systems and processes. This position also involves overseeing loading and unloading activities, but no driving is required. The client is seeking someone who can work accurately, communicate well with others in English and Spanish, and contribute to day-to-day logistics coordination in a busy shipping office.

What You Will Do?
  • Use software to schedule trucks and support daily route management activities.

  • Perform data entry inside the system accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Oversee loading and unloading activities in the shipping area as needed.

  • Work in a tight-quarters shipping office shared with other team members.

  • Support logistics operations in both 3PL and non-3PL environments.

  • Learn new systems and processes while applying existing logistics experience.

Your Skills
  • Logistics experience is required and provides a strong foundation for this role.

  • Experience with ERP systems is helpful for handling data entry and system work.

  • Sage experience is acceptable and can support successful onboarding.

  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented shipping office environment.

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
